In Allston, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Massachusetts vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Sean is one of the most kind hearted and talented people that is just great at his job. He works fast and is reasonable. Hit a curb and damaged my wheel significantly. He made it look brand new in the matter of 2 hours! I would recommend him over and over again to anyone!!’

This is my first time using Rimshine to repair some series curbrash on my Audi 20” rims and they did a fantastic job . Shawn went out of his way to explain the work they did and went above and beyond without charging extra .. even came in u see his original quote. His colleague Abel was also great Would recommend these guys without hesitation.. I see why they got all 5 stars and well deserved and I would definitely use them again for future work! I just recently had Shawn do my Lexus lc500 rims which had Curb rash. At first he said it would be very difficult as these are 21” chrome rims which are notoriously hard to do. They did an amazing job and photos below show their results . Once again Cannot say enough about their work … would give 10 stars 🙏👍🏼🙂

In the last week, I've given Shawn my 2 cars to work on and I must say, the rims look brand new! I honestly thought he bought new rims and put them on my cars. Shawn is professional, great at his job, and an all around good guy. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Rim Shine.

Will let the photos speak for themselves. Seam at Rimshine LLC was a great help, pointed out that the rims had been done previously and the AMG machining had been removed (CPO vehicle). Had Sean bring back the machining, install new tires, balance and put back on the vehicle. Oh, all the service was done without the car leaving my garage. They put the car on jacks during the 3 days it took to complete the work.
